About this atlas

The Atlas of Cryptids is an independent documentary project, born of a family passion for creature stories — and for what they say about us. One hundred files, seven categories, six continents: the inventory of the animals humanity swears it saw without ever proving it.

This site sells nothing, defends no belief and collects no personal data. Every file is an original, sourced and verified piece of writing, with its rational explanations and a justified evidence class.
